Finally!!! An auto repair shop that really listened to my complaint, gave me some options and fixed the problem at a fair price. My car was done when the owner said it would be, he didn't try to do a bunch of stuff I didn't think I needed and he called me about 10 days later to see how everything was going. What is so hard about that!!! Why cant they all do that???? I honestly thought about not writing this review. It is like telling everybody where your favorite fishing spot is. Finally!!! This is my second visit to A2 and I am amazed at the service level, pricing, and the after emails I get listing services needed. I feel like I can trust this location to give me the services I need for a great price. Just wanted to thank the crew over there for making the place great to do business with. I will certainly continue bringing my vehicles there just because of that.

Went here off of recommendations as I had some minor issues with my vehicle that three other places could not figure out. They went above and beyond my expectations and found the initial problem as it turned out to be something small that the other mechanic shops didn't take the time to examine. I would recommend this place again and again.

I've always had a very good experience bringing my cars to Advanced Automotive. I receive great and friendly service at reasonable prices. And most important... I trust them. I always recommend them to friends and family.

This shop rebuilt my Rangers transmission two and a half years ago. They quoted me the most affordable price out of the six shops I had checked out. The also had the best and longest warranty too. I got my truck back in great shape and with a great shifting transmission. My transmission is still shifting as strong as when it left their shop 40,000 miles ago! I agree with Currents Magazine that this is the Best Auto shop in Ann Arbor. The new owner is carrying on this tradition. He's also a mechanic so not only did he clearly explain the necessary repairs, but showed them to me on my car. I told them that I was preparing for a cross country drive but only had enough cash to do the absolutely necessary repairs. The owner helped me to figure out which repairs were most essential. I liked that I could see into the garage as my car was being worked on. The pricing is fair and definitely cheaper than the dealership. Overall, I liked the independent atmosphere in the shop and I highly recommend Advanced Auto for all of your car servicing needs.
